Current Affairs is a print and digital magazine of politics, culture and the unusual, operating since 2015. Our mission is to educate and empower readers by providing accessible and rigorously researched articles on critical issues. Through our coverage of topics such as climate change, labor struggles, nuclear proliferation, the erosion of democracy, animal rights, healthcare, and housing, we aim to foster critical thinking and promote informed decision-making in a democratic society. While we approach the topics we cover from a broadly progressive perspective, we remain nonpartisan and unaffiliated with any political party or candidate. Our commitment is to fair coverage, ensuring that our readers receive accurate and reliable information.Our beautiful print edition, featuring insightful essays on a wide range of subject, original artwork and satirical ads and amusements, comes out six times a year. All our print articles are published on our website www.currentaffairs.org in the weeks after the magazine goes to press. We also publish online exclusives three times a week, meaning articles that only appear online and interview transcripts from the podcast (see a sampling of our work&nbsp;here). Thus, much of our work is available to the public for FREE, without ads or paywalls. Additionally we offer a twice weekly News Briefing bringing you an entertaining and thorough digest of the week’s most important news stories.
