We need you.

Current Affairs is a reader-supported nonprofit magazine publishing politics and culture free from corporate influence. We pay writers and artists, produce a beautiful print magazine, and make much of our work available to everyone regardless of ability to pay. Monthly donors provide the stable funding that allows us to plan for the future and continue growing. If Current Affairs has informed, entertained, or challenged you, please consider supporting our work today.

We are registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with EIN 83-1675720. Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donations may be made through the website by completing this form, via wire transfer or by sending a check to the office. Please email sonya@currentaffairs.org for the mailing address, with any questions or for more information.

For amounts greater than $3000, please get in touch via email rather than donating through this page.

Monthly Donation

We believe independent media can accomplish a great deal with a small, dedicated team. Current Affairs operates with a staff of just six people, yet produces a print magazine, publishes daily online journalism, and reaches readers around the world. Because we keep our operation small and focused, every donation goes a long way. Whether you're able to give $10 a month or $1,000, your support helps make independent, reader-funded media possible.

$10/month — Help keep Current Affairs independent and free from corporate advertising.

$25/month — Help pay writers and artists for their work.

$50/month — Help publish new articles and expand our reach.

$100/month — Help cover the costs of producing the magazine.

$250/month — Help fund a feature article from pitch to publication.

$500/month — Help underwrite an issue of Current Affairs.

$1,000/month — Help secure the future of independent, reader-supported media.

Read our pamphlet for supporters for more on the work we do and how your donation can help.
